Work Hours: 12hour shifts 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM three shifts per week

We are seeking a fulltime Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy 15bed Womens Services Department. This night shift role is ideal for an RN with experience in obstetrical nursing including labor and delivery postpartum and newborn care. You will be working three 12hour night shifts per week and must be comfortable managing critical situations such as Csections epidural care and fetal monitoring.

• Record patient information accurately and concisely in medical records.
• Perform technical aspects of patient care per established policies and procedures.
• Ensure the safety comfort and privacy of patients at all times.
• Interpret and document fetal monitor tracings accurately.
• Safely and successfully place fetal scalp electrodes when needed.
• Prepare patients for Csection procedures with efficiency and precision.
• Follow physician orders for postpartum patients and adjust nursing care as necessary.
• Assist during vaginal deliveries including vacuum or forcepsassisted deliveries.
• Provide appropriate newborn care at the time of delivery.
• Demonstrate understanding of epidural anesthesia protocols.

• Education: Associates Degree or higher in Nursing.
• Licensure: Active Nevada RN License.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience: Womens services hospital nursing experience.

• Previous experience in obstetrical nursing.
• Comfortable with night shifts.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification is a plus.
