Job Description
Title Senior Automation Designer Mechanical
Location Cambridge Ontario Canada (onsite only)
Duration Fulltime opportunity
Experience 5 to 7 years
Job Description:
- 5 years of working experience of common machine shop techniques.
- Must have a thorough knowledge and handson experience of drafting principles.
- 4 years experience in AutoCAD and Solid Works.
- Must be capable of designing tooling from sketches or verbal concepts.
- Must be capable of working as part of a team.
- A thorough knowledge of the use of pneumatics and hydraulics. A thorough knowledge of the use of electrical devices (i.e. switches load cells LVDTs etc.).
- Must demonstrate a strong ability to conceptualize and create solutions for complex design requirements.
- Must have strong written and oral communication abilities.
