Position: Global Automation Manager
Location: Allentown PA
Compensation: $130000 $150000 base salary plus bonus
Overview:

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing largescale capital equipment projects integrating new technologies and leading an engineering team in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set direction for new technology initiatives to meet evolving industry demands.
- Lead a team of 1520 Engineers and Technicians in the integration of cuttingedge hardware and software for customized machine control systems.
- Manage the development of new product platforms focusing on both hardware and software integration including PLC HMI and DCS systems.
- Oversee projects using the Rockwell/DeltaV Automation Platform with a strategic understanding of the direction of automation in the industry.
- Drive compliance with S88based Batch Automation design standards particularly in biotech or pharmaceutical settings.
- Track project budgets and progress ensuring milestones are met and resources are optimized.
- Oversee the programming testing verification and validation of PLC HMI and DCS components.
- Facilitate the integration of smaller systems into largescale plants ensuring seamless communication between systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical Electronics Chemical or Manufacturing preferred) with supplementary coursework in Business Management.
- Experience in budget and progress tracking for largescale projects.
- Proficiency with PLC HMI and DCS programming and system integration.
- Familiarity with S88 standards and batch automation in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field 6 or more years (6+) of relevant work experience in a pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing engineering environment Experience with the procurement, installation, and validation of complex equipment Proficient in Microsoft Office, and some or all of: CAD software, ladder logic programming, Rockwell Automation software/hardware, Siemens software/hardware, Fanuc Robots, Universal Robots, and ABB Robots.
