ID Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a Senior Payroll Specialist for a Electrical Contracting Construction Company based in Co. Mayo.
The role will work within the finance team and will be responsible for processing payroll for 180 250 employees weekly as well as provide accounts support to the finance team. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Payroll
- Management of highvolume weekly payroll processing ensuring accuracy and completion on time.
- Calculate and implement holiday entitlements and other deductions .
- Processing pension for all employees.
- ROS reporting for payroll and expenses.
- Management of companies tracking systems.
- Handle new hires terminations status changes and pay rate updates for payroll submissions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory payroll requirements.
- Answering payroll related queries.
- Monitor and investigate discrepancies .
- Weekly and monthly reporting for management.
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Accounts
- Provide assistance to the finance team with AP and AR duties as required.
Key Requirements:
- Have at least 3 years experience working in a similar role
- Payroll Qualification
- Excellent IT Skills particularly with MS Office
- Experience using Sage is an advantage
- Experience assisting with general accounts would be an advantage
- Experience with ROS BIK RCT CWPS and Private Pensions
- Ability to adapt multitask and work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
