Senior Technical Specialist (Applications) Independent Contractor
Location: Dublin Ireland (Remote work included)
Role Type: Independent Contractor
Day Rate: Dependent on Experience (DOE)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Specialist (Applications) to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft technologies particularly Dynamics CRM and SharePoint and will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our ICT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Support:
- Design and develop applications to meet client and enduser requirements.
- Maintain and improve existing ICT business needs around enterprise solutions including Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint.
- Provide senior consultancy for ICT systems and support the ICT Helpdesk.
Collaboration & Project Management:
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders including government agencies and internal departments.
- Manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously ensuring effective communication and delivery.
Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 guidelines and relevant health and safety policies.
- Propose innovative ideas and solutions that enhance service delivery.
Candidate Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (2011) and SharePoint (2010).
- Proven software design experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services.
- Proficiency in C# ASP.NET MVC and Microsoft Infopath.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Azure DevOps is desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and application design.
- Experience in migrating from legacy systems to modern platforms preferably within the MS Dynamics ecosystem.
Education:
- Relevant qualifications in IT or a related field.
- Microsoft Certifications in SharePoint Dynamics CRM or ASP.NET development are a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problemsolving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work outofhours as necessary to support projects.
