Job Description
Job Details:
- Maintains the list of sea staff with recommendation for promotion.
- ists from a training perspective in transition planning for promotions of the crew.
- ists in the identification and evaluation of the companys training needs and objectives.
- Maintains the training schedule in liaison with Fleet Manager.
- Maintains the Training Needs based on information obtained from Sign off Interviews.
- Coordinates prepares and updates competence doentation.
- ists in the creation and implementation of training plans for newly hired seafarers based on STCW and company standards.
- ists in organizing seafarers conferences training sessions and other company specific courses in coordination with the principal.
- Facilitates the administrative requirements of Inhouse training and likewise coordination/arrangement of outsourced training.
- Maintains an updated record of all training materials equipment and other related training resources.
- Responsible for maintenance of training records for sea staff.
- Makes all arrangements in connection with courses (enrollment travel hotel information etc)
- Follow up on training courses in connection with various projects.
- Provides appropriate personnel information into Crewing System in respect of courses and training matters.
- Ensures relevant scanned doents are entered in the Crewing System.
