Position Summary: The Senior Director Business Development will lead efforts to drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities establishing and expanding channels and broadening Stratfield’s service portfolio. This individual will focus on building new client relationships and delivering a wider range of solutions to meet evolving client needs. The role requires a highly driven professional with proven experience in selling consulting and professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth Initiatives: Identify and drive new revenue streams by expanding service offerings and developing strategies that align with client needs and market demands.
Client Acquisition & Channel Development: Establish and grow new business channels to reach diverse markets expand Stratfield’s client base and offer a broader mix of services across multiple sectors.
Solution Selling: Collaborate with internal consulting teams to deliver customized valuedriven solutions that address client challenges efficiently and effectively.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and establish longterm partnerships.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a resultsdriven sales strategy focused on business growth market expansion and diversified service offerings.
Collaboration with Consulting Teams: Work closely with internal teams to align business development initiatives with service delivery ensuring seamless client engagements.
Market Expansion: Continuously explore new market opportunities to broaden Stratfield’s service portfolio and deliver additional value to clients.
Client Retention & Growth: Ensure high client satisfaction by gathering feedback addressing needs proactively and identifying new areas for service expansion.
Qualifications:
10 years of experience in business development with a focus on consulting or professional services.
Proven success in identifying new revenue initiatives establishing channels and diversifying client portfolios.
Expertise in managing full sales cycles from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
Strong understanding of consulting services in areas such as software engineering project management change management and technology enablement.
Excellent communication negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business marketing or a related field preferred.
