Position: SAP ABAP Developer
Location: ATLANTA GA ONSITE
Visa H1B / GC / USC
Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer to manage and maintain existing development objects and to develop additional objects as required in our SAP Landscape. This role involves overseeing a range of tasks including development enhancements troubleshooting debugging performance tuning support pack upgrades and working with functional teams and business process experts. Proficiency in classic ABAP Object Oriented ABAP ABAP WebDynpro Workflows and interfaces is essential for success in this role. Minimum Qualifications:
- 35 years of experience in SAP ABAP development with a focus on SAP ECC.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP development tools.
- Knowledge of SAP development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in designing developing and implementing ABAP programs reports interfaces conversions enhancements and forms (RICEF objects).
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 37 years of experience specifically in SAP ABAP development within SAP ECC environments.
- Extensive proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP development tools with a strong understanding of ECC architecture.
- Indepth knowledge and handson experience with SAP ECC modules such as HCM (HR) MM (Materials Management) and FI (Financial Accounting)
- Proven track record of successfully designing developing and implementing complex ABAP programs reports interfaces conversions enhancements and forms (RICEF objects) tailored to ECC requirements.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code within ECC landscapes.
- Familiarity with SAP data dictionary objects data modeling and database concepts specific to ECC.
- Experience with integration technologies and methodologies for ECC including IDoc BAPI RFC and ALE.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in ECC environments.
Responsibilities:
- The SAP ABAP Developer applies technical skills to SAP products including ECC Business Warehouse and New Dimension products (CRM SRM HR SAP Enterprise Portal SEM etc.) and database and operating system technical skills to maintain the integrity of the Gwinnett County SAP landscape environments.
- Plans analyzes develops programs; modifies tests debugs and implements complex computer systems; defines requirements for creative logical and effective solutions; confers with management to determine feasibility of recommendations.
- Assists with problem and/or process identification and definition; analyzes system problems and takes corrective actions.
- Provides technical direction in information modeling concepts data access information system interfaces and reporting tools.
- Maintains and administers databases and associated tables.
- Evaluates hardware and/or software for improvements and possible modifications; plans and develops third party systems deployment; trains users.
- Develops and documents data standards; prepares documentation for new systems and system modifications in accordance with established County standards and procedures.
