Job Description
K2nd Grade Special Education Teacher Position in Gary Indiana!
Are you a dedicated Special Education Teacher with a pion for working with elementary school students
Join a company that values your ss and experience! Clarifi Staffing Solutions is currently seeking fulltime Special Education Teachers to work with schoolaged students in the cross categorical clroom.
During theschool year the Special Education Teacher will be responsible for effectively collaborating with the student s academic support team to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student on the caseload. The Special Education Teacher will also monitor student goals and prepare quarterly progress reports.
Responsibilities:
- Providing students with instructional materials that address individualized learning plans within elished lesson plans.
- Administering developmental testing programs subjectspecific essments etc. to ess student competency levels and develop individual learning plans.
- Advising parents and/or legal guardians of student progress communicating expectations achievements and developing ods for improvement or reinforcing clroom goals in the home environment.

- Collaborating with instructional staff other school personnel parents and community resources to improve overall student outcomes.
- Demonstrating ods required to perform clroom and/or subjectspecific ignments to provide an effective program addressing individual student requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Teaching certification in the state of Illinois endorsed in special education (LBS1).
