Job Description
- Develop and execute test specifications and plans for embedded operating systems (OS) and applications.
- Apply a strong engineering mindset to design effective test cases while collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
- Ensure software complies with regulatory requirements such as medical device standards safety and security.
- Perform manual and automated testing; experience with test suites such as LTP CTS VTS and ATS is a plus.
- Doent test results identify defects and ensure timely reporting to the development team.
- Collaborate with other engineers to ensure comprehensive testing across the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and odologies.
Requirements
What you will bring:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in QA or V&V (Verification and Validation) roles ideally in embedded software environments.
- Strong experience in embedded C Python Bash and scripting for automation.
- Experience in both manual and automated testing with the ability to trouble and yze test failures.
- Familiarity with medical device standards and regulations particularly around safety and security.
- Awareness of functional safety and cybersecurity is a plus.
- Preferred candidates who are based in Pune or willing to relocate.
Good to Have:
- Experience with testing suites such as LTP (Linux Test Project) CTS (Compatibility Test Suite) VTS (Vendor Test Suite) and ATS (Automated Test Suite).
- Familiarity with embedded systems development particularly in the automotive medical or automation industries.
Nice to Have:
- Handson experience in functional safety and cybersecurity in embedded software environments.
- Prior work experience in industries such as automotive medical devices or industrial automation.
