Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Line Balancing and Workflow Optimization:
- Evaluate and balance production lines to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Design and implement improvements to minimize bottlenecks and downtime.
- Motion and Cycle Time Studies:
- Conduct motion studies to analyze worker movements and identify opportunities for ergonomic and efficiency improvements.
- Perform cycle time analysis to establish standard work times and improve throughput.
- Process Optimization:
- Develop and implement process improvement plans to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design efficient production systems aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement:
- Lead Lean initiatives such as 5S Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify and eliminate nonvalueadded activities in production processes.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze production data to identify trends inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on key performance indicators (KPIs) and improvement initiatives.
- Capacity and Resource Management:
- Plan and optimize resource allocation including manpower materials and equipment based on production requirements.
- Assess plant capacity and recommend adjustments to meet operational demands.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Work closely with the Quality team to ensure adherence to product specifications and process standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Training and Development:
- Train production staff on new processes tools and methodologies to ensure successful implementation.
- Provide guidance on Lean principles and process optimization techniques.
