Job Description
Minimum of 7 years of handson experience required
Knowledge of AWS and Angular is essential
Candidates will undergo 1 video phone screen and 2 technical screens
Position is based in Boston; no relocation candidates will be considered
Onsite interview is a requirement
Role involves handson fullstack Java development
Will be working crossfunctionally to address technical challenges and ensure quality
Development of customercentric applications
Enhancement of system quality usability performance security and reliability
Maintenance of awareness of internet trends technologies and best practices
Proactive mindset and initiative to improve performance quality and efficiency
Contribution to technical architecture decisions
Handling of all stages of the development lifecycle
Architecting implementing and optimizing scalable databases
Mentoring junior level developers
Working with stakeholders and Business ysts to understand requirements and translate to design
Testing support and deployment
68 years of frontend and backend experience in Java/J2EE required
Experience with Spring Spring boot WebSphere JBOSS ESB (Mule) Rule Engines (e.g. Drools) JUnit Hibernate/MyBatis Web Service Unix S Scripting
Experience with SQL XML and DB2
Mobile/iOS/Android development experience is a plus
Java Certifications preferred
Experience in design; cl diagrams sequence diagrams activity diagrams etc
SOAP and REST web services design and development experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Knowledge of IT concepts strategies odologies
Understanding of layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs
Knowledge of Object Oriented Design Patterns
P&C insurance industry experience preferred but not required.
