Job Description
- Role: SAP Master SAP Key User (Logistics finance purchase)
- Location: Sterling Heights MI (Onsite)
- Contract: 612 months
Job Summary: The Master SAP Key User serves as the primary expert and liaison between the business and IT teams for SAP systems within their functional area. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective use of SAP across the organization providing guidance to endusers and supporting the successful implementation maintenance and continuous improvement of SAP modules. The Master SAP Key User will drive optimization of business processes by leveraging their deep knowledge of SAP functionalities troubleing issues and coordinating system enhancements to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP System Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for one or more SAP modules (e.g. MM WM SD FI) providing guidance and support to endusers on best practices and system utilization.
- EndUser Support and Training: ist endusers by resolving SAPrelated issues offering advanced troubleing and ensuring system errors are addressed efficiently. Develop and deliver SAP training programs and doentation to improve user competency.
- Process Optimization: yze current business processes and workflows recommending improvements and SAP enhancements that align with organizational goals. Lead efforts to streamline processes using SAP capabilities.
- Change Management: Act as a key liaison during SAP system upgrades new implementations and rollouts. Test and validate new SAP features and configurations and ensure smooth transitions during system changes.
- Data Management: Ensure data accuracy integrity and proper utilization within the SAP system by monitoring data entry conducting regular audits and coordinating with IT for data migrations.
- User Administration: Manage user access rights and profiles within SAP ensuring appropriate authorization levels are granted in alignment with the companys security policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest SAP developments updates and best practices. Proactively suggest system enhancements and implement solutions to improve overall business performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including IT finance logistics and supply chain to understand business needs and translate them into SAP configurations. Support project teams during implementation phases by providing detailed SAP knowledge.
- Doentation: Create and maintain detailed doentation of SAP processes system configurations and best practices to ensure consistency and support for future users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as an SAP Key User or similar role with advanced knowledge of one or more SAP modules (MM WM SD FI etc.).
- Strong understanding of business processes in relevant functional areas such as procurement logistics or finance.
- Proven ability to trouble SAP system issues and provide enduser support.
- Experience in SAP configuration process optimization and working on SAP implementations or upgrades.
- Excellent communication ss with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical users.
- Detailoriented selfmotivated and able to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certification in relevant modules (MM WM SD FI etc.).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Project management ss including experience with system rollouts and process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with EDI IDOC processing and other SAP integrations.
