Job Description
Position: CCTV Specialist
Location: Bucharest Romania
Employment type: Fulltime
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the operations control room ensuring cameras are fully functional and equipment is properly maintained
- Perform daily checks on cameras for cleanliness functionality and recording status
- Trouble and resolve issues with CCTV cameras systems and VMS applications (AXIS Camera Station Milestone Hikvision etc.)
- Install secure and administer VMS applications and carry out routine maintenance following the master plan
- Train CCTV operators provide manuals and procedures and monitor system performance and reliability proactively
- Collaborate with the Network and Storage teams to ensure regular checks on data connections and security
- Provide 24/7 emergency response for CCTV failures and handle offhours work requests as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation / Control System Engineering
- Ideally 25 years of experience in same / similar role
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and relevant software (Milestone AXIS Hikvision etc.)
- Proven experience in the installation configuration and troubleing of CCTV systems
- Working knowledge of Windows Server Linux and TCP/IP networking
- Experience with storage systems (SAN NAS DAS) and hardware servers (HP Dell EMC Blade)
- Familiarity with LAN administration tasks (user management backups)
- Experience with largescale CCTV projects or advanced VMS applications will be considered as an advantage
- Certifications in CCTV systems or network security will be considered as an advantage
- Knowledge of cybersecurity measures specific to CCTV systems will be considered as an advantage.
