Are you a pionate culinary professional with strong leadership ss and a knack for scratch kitchen operations management A local specialty fullservice restaurant is looking for someone to join their team as an istant Kitchen Manager. Use your expertise to deliver exceptional dining experiences and contribute to their kitchens success.
Key Responsibilities:Support the Head Chef and Kitchen Manager in daily kitchen operations and management.
ist in planning and executing menu items while maintaining high food quality and presentation standards.
Supervise and train kitchen staff emphasizing proper cooking techniques food safety and sanitation protocols.
Manage kitchen inventory monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of ingredients and supplies.
Empower the kitchen team by fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and growth.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation standards.
Oversee food preparation processes and ensure consistency in taste portioning and presentation.
Contribute to cost control efforts by minimizing food waste and optimizing ingredient usage.
ist in scheduling kitchen staff to maximize efficiency while maintaining labor budgets.
Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of experience as an istant kitchen manager or sous chef within a scratch kitchen environment.
No more than 2 employers in the last 5 years or 3 in the last 9 years. (Exceptions for closed or sold restaurants).
Strong leadership and organizational ss with the ability to manage motivate and train a diverse team.
Excellent problemsolving ss and the ability to handle highstress situations effectively.
Exceptional communication ss both verbal and written.
Selfmotivation.
Ability to oversee inventory control and perform basic financial tasks.
Proficiency with kitchen equipment and restaurant management software.
Creative ability to work with the community and build sales.
Knowledge of finances budgetting and accounting within restaurants.
