We have partnered with a financial company in the New York NY area to provide them with a Senior Operational Planning yst. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized must haves for the Senior Operational Planning yst:
#1. Bachelors degree in Finance or Economics or its equivalent with 7 years of relevant work experience in a financial institution.
#2. Business yst experience is required.
#3. Basic knowledge in global and local banking regulations including BIS regulations and FED regulations especially in the field of operational risk management.
#4. Basic accounting standard (IFRS US GAAP) and practice in the banking industry.
#5. Basic audit ss and knowledge with internal control framework such as COSO
#6. Project management ss or business consultant experience
#7. Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
Requirements for the Senior Operational Planning yst:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field with over 7 years of experience in a financial institution.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel Word PowerPoint Access Outlook Teams SharePoint SQL and VBA. Familiarity with industryspecific technology systems for data collection problemsolving and understanding IT system requests.
- Required experience as a Business yst. Ss in business intelligence tools and ytical ods are desirable. Experience in loan operations or global markets is preferred. Understanding of wholesale banking business processes is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of global and local banking regulations including BIS and FED regulations particularly related to operational risk management.
- Familiarity with accounting standards (IFRS US GAAP) and their application in banking.
- Basic audit ss and knowledge of internal control frameworks such as COSO.
- Project management experience or background as a business consultant.
- Logical thinker with strong collaboration ss.
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence key stakeholders in supporting strategies process improvements and operational decisions.
- Experience in testing and mapping business processes and protocols.
Other Key Requirements:
- Hybrid (expected to be in office at 3 days a week)
