Senior Engineer

Salary: $ 140 000.00

We have partnered with a financial company in the New York NY area to provide them with a Senior Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

This position is for an AVP level candidate.

Prioritized must haves for the Senior Engineer:

#1. Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science with 3 years of relevant work experience of application development experience including development experience in the financial industry.

#2. Proficiency in the use of one or more of the following software packages in conjunction with MS SQL is required:

• ASP.Net
• C#
• VB.Net
• Visual Studio
• PowerS

Requirements of a Senior Engineer:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field with over 3 years of application development experience preferably within the financial sector.
• Required proficiency in using one or more of the following software tools alongside MS SQL:
  • ASP.Net
  • C#
  • VB.Net
  • Visual Studio
  • PowerS
• Basic understanding of financial instruments wholesale banking capital markets lending and market risk ysis is preferred. Experience with SWIFT is an advantage.
• Intermediate programming ss and experience with MS Office applications (Excel Access) are desirable.
• Experience with SharePoint administration is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication ss.
• Familiarity with UIPATH Studio for RPA (Robotic Process Automation) development is beneficial.
