ACCOUNTS OFFICER
JOB DESCRIPTION

Scope
The Accounts Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records processing transactions conducting bank reconciliations and managing accounts payable and receivable.
Key Responsibilities
- ist in the preparation of financial statements reports and budgets.
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
- Process invoices expense reports and payments.
- ist in bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Support the monthend and yearend closing processes.
- Help maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- ist in preparing tax filings and supporting doentation.
- Respond to inquiries from management and vendors regarding financial transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements
- A Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance or any related field of study.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role or its equivalent.
- A good working knowledge of major accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Sage).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ss.
- Strong ytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication ss
- Excellent interpersonal and time management ss
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suites specifically Microsoft Excel.
