This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Systems Administrator (Cloud & DevOps). As a Systems Administrator (Cloud & DevOps) ensure smooth IT operations including service delivery change management release management and DevOps.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and implementation of IT automation focused on service delivery.
- Improve monitoring and alerting on applications and business processes through events metrics and log ytics with selfhealing features.
- Implement automated CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices within waterfallcentric teams.
- Develop tools for monitoring applications and services in the cloud with a focus on Microsoft tools.
- Work with development teams to engineer scalable reliable and resilient software in the cloud.
- Support the deployment and automation of services on both Azure and private clouds.
- Act as a gatekeeper for production changes release and deployments.
- Provide oncall support for production infrastructure environments within an ITSM framework.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of relevant IT experience as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in PowerS scripting is essential.
- Experience with Python and other scripting languages is preferred.
- Experience supporting production applications and infrastructure in public and private cloud environments.
- Handson experience with Microsoft Azure Azure DevOps and Azurebased tools.
- Familiarity with IAAS/PAAS on Windows Azure and private cloud platforms.
- Experience with application deployments such as Web apps Web services and IIS/Azure Service Environments.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and ITIL certification is a plus.
- Experience in migrating infrastructure from onpremises to cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of networking tools and network troubleing.
- Strong ytical and problemsolving ss.
- Excellent communication and presentation ss.
- Clientservice orientation with the ability to collaborate at all levels.
- Ability to engage with teams and stakeholders for incident and problem resolution change management and process improvements.
Certification Required:
- ITIL Certified preferred
- Azure Certified preferred
