Systems Administrator Cloud DevOps

This is a remote position.

• Contribute to the design and implementation of IT automation focused on service delivery.
  
• Improve monitoring and alerting on applications and business processes through events metrics and log ytics with selfhealing features.
  
• Implement automated CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices within waterfallcentric teams.
  
• Develop tools for monitoring applications and services in the cloud with a focus on Microsoft tools.
  
• Work with development teams to engineer scalable reliable and resilient software in the cloud.
  
• Support the deployment and automation of services on both Azure and private clouds.
  
• Act as a gatekeeper for production changes release and deployments.
  
• Provide oncall support for production infrastructure environments within an ITSM framework.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  
• 3 years of relevant IT experience as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
  
• Strong proficiency in PowerS scripting is essential.
  
• Experience with Python and other scripting languages is preferred.
  
• Experience supporting production applications and infrastructure in public and private cloud environments.
  
• Handson experience with Microsoft Azure Azure DevOps and Azurebased tools.
  
• Familiarity with IAAS/PAAS on Windows Azure and private cloud platforms.
  
• Experience with application deployments such as Web apps Web services and IIS/Azure Service Environments.
  
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and ITIL certification is a plus.
  
• Experience in migrating infrastructure from onpremises to cloud platforms.
  
• Strong understanding of networking tools and network troubleing.
  
• Strong ytical and problemsolving ss.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation ss.
  
• Clientservice orientation with the ability to collaborate at all levels.
  
• Ability to engage with teams and stakeholders for incident and problem resolution change management and process improvements.
