We are currently seeking a Steel Estimator. As an Estimator you will play a crucial role in estimating various steel erection and miscellaneous steel projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong estimation ss and experience in the metal fabrication and erection industry.

Job Title: Steel Estimator

Salary: 85k to 110k

Employment Type: FullTime

Benefits: Medical Paid Timeoffs 401k

Responsibilities

• Reviews project plans and provides estimates.
• Review contracts to make any revision of the scope of work
• Able to read Structural and Architectural drawings and
• Prepare accurate takeoffs of material shop and field hours.
• Create Job files complete required bid forms and scope of work from General Contractors and type and send out proposals.
• Estimates small and large projects.
• Estimates multiple projects with deadlines following up after bid submission
• Must be able to work diligently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 35 years of experience in preparing detailed Steel Erection and Miscellaneous Metals proposals
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and installation
• Good communication ss and diligence in following up with customers
• Proficient in using different estimating software
