Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Leamington ON
Salary/Hourly Rate: $17.50 $30.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. In this role you will learn how to disemble and reemble machinery conduct cleaning daily maintenance monthly repairs and other tasks related to efficient machine operation.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform daily and monthly maintenance checks and repairs to ensure equipment runs smoothly. Learn to take apart clean and reemble the machine. Conduct routine cleaning and daily maintenance.
- Forklift Operation: Move empty pallets and boxes into trucks using a forklift when machine operation tasks are not required.
- Box embly: Unbundle shipments place them into the machine and operate them to create boxes.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 6 months of experience with machine repair or related tasks.
- A strong desire to learn new techniques and adapt to new ods.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely (training can be provided).
- Steeltoed boots are mandatory.
- Must be able to understand instructions and communicate effectively.
- Must be able to commute to the onsite location
