Job Title: Architectural Glass and Metal Technician
Location: Ontario
Required hours: 8000 hours

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Architectural Glass and Metal Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team you will play an essential role in the installation repair and maintenance of architectural glass and metal systems in commercial and residential settings. Key Responsibilities:
Installation and amp; Repair: Install repair and maintain architectural glass and metal products ensuring precise and highquality work for both commercial and residential buildings.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications to ensure proper installation and adherence to design standards.
Project Assessment: Conduct measurements and assessments of the site to determine appropriate materials methods and techniques needed for each project.
Collaboration: Work effectively with other trades and contractors to meet project timelines and ensure successful timely project completion.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns maintaining a professional and helpful demeanour during all phases of the project.
Safety and amp; Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following industry safety protocols and ensuring a safe workspace for all team members.
Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of work performed materials used and any issues or updates during the course of each project.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 year of experience in architectural glass and metal installation or a related field.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of glass and metal properties industry standards and best practices for installation and maintenance.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints with precision.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and attention to detail to ensure flawless installations and repairs.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to effectively interact with clients contractors and team members.
Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Travel: Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
