Position Overview:
We are seeking sed Aviation Evaluators & Welders to join our partner s production team. This role is vital in
ensuring the integrity and safety of aircraft components through precise welding repair and evaluation. The
ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aviation maintenance strong technical ss and a
commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Component Repair and Evaluation:
Review parts and manuals to create detailed repair plans.
Perform welding grinding soldering heattreating and sandblasting on aircraft components.
Conduct inspections and damage removal as necessary.
Machinery Operation:
Use handheld tools and operate machinery for cleaning deburring painting sanding and grit blasting
parts.
Set up and manage manual and robotic spray systems to apply coatings to parts.
Perform regular maintenance on large industrial machinery.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with a diverse team of mechanics technicians and engineers to address complex aircraft
issues.
Stay informed on industry trends and safety procedures participating in ongoing professional
development.
Safety and Compliance:
Promote a culture of safety by adhering to elished protocols and encouraging team awareness.
Ensure all work meets regulatory standards and guidelines.
Job Evaluation and Reporting:
Prepare project status reports by collecting yzing and summarizing information and trends.
Evaluate and scope jobs as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an aviation technician either in military or civilian contexts.
At least 3 years of welding experience with a background in aircraft maintenance and structural repair.
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and reading technical manuals and blueprints.
Experience with coating systems such as HVOF and Plasma processes is a plus.
Familiarity with Part 135 Part 121 and Part 145 compliance is advantageous.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
Ability to work weekends evenings and holidays as needed with prior notice.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift push and pull up to 50 lbs for approximately 25% of the workday.
Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods.
Willingness to work in varied conditions including hot cold dusty or loud environments and with
odorous liquids and oils.
