Job Description

At EBC you will benefit from exciting professional development opportunities. During your internship you will be involved or oversee duties usually igned to a Field Engineer. You will ist the Project Manager in various tasks pertaining to the job site including planning organizing and supporting project works; from negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to providing support with work ods. You will also develop and suggest improvements to design standards advise and solve complex design and engineering issues on site.

ResponsibilitieS
- ist in the Permit Management process under the supervision of the responsible team;
- Support the Project Management team in planning and coordinating daytoday construction activities including monitoring and reporting;
- Help develop Work Plans for upcoming construction activities in collaboration with the technical and construction teams;
- ist in the development or review of temporary works;
- Review various doentation including civil and environmental reports recommendations and technical specifications;
- Support the Project Manager in preparing project cost status reports tracking percentage completion costs to date and cost forecasts;
- Identify project concerns and alert management to potential risks on igned projects isting in the development of plans to mitigate these risks;
- Monitor the overall project progress and support corrective action as needed;
- ist in preparing budgets forecasts and managing scope and contract changes to reduce risks;
- Ensure all scope and contract changes are submitted and approved by the client;
- Help prepare progress billings and ist in the collection of outstanding payments.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering in progress ;
- Relevant experience in engineering or construction is an important et ;
- A drivers license and/or ability to travel may be required in some cases.
- Is versatile and adaptable ;
- Is a fast learner ;
- Respects deadlines ;
- Possesses strong teamwork ss.
