Job Responsibilities:
- Provide highquality nursing care to patients in a medicalsurgical unit.
- ess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical staff.
- ist in diagnostic tests and procedures ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients and their families on postdischarge care and health management.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and doentation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient outcomes and care strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
- Support and mentor junior nursing staff as necessary.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable with relevant experience.
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication ss.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced team environment.
- Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving ss.
- Compionate and patientcentered approach to care.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years of nursing experience in a medicalsurgical setting preferred.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Prior experience in acute care settings is a plus.
