RN Orthopedic Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the orthopedic unit under the supervision of physicians and orthopedic surgeons.

- ist in orthopedic procedures surgeries and postoperative care.
- Administer medications monitor vital signs and educate patients on orthopedic conditions and treatments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure highquality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and doentation.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the treatment process.
- Stay updated with advancements in orthopedic nursing and participate in continuous education.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Specialization or certification in orthopedic nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical ss and understanding of orthopedic conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle orthopedic emergencies.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Knowledge of orthopedic medications treatments and procedures.
Desired Experience:
- Prior experience in orthopedic nursing or related field preferred.
- Experience in isting with orthopedic surgeries and procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Experience in patient education and counseling.
