Job Summary:
As a Sales Engineer specializing in the general auto industry and construction sectors you will leverage your technical expertise and sales aen to promote and sell our products/services.
Your primary responsibility will be to understand customer needs present tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. You will act as a crucial link between the sales team engineering department and clients driving sales growth and enhancing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales Support:
- Understand and convey the technical specifications of products/services to customers in the auto and construction industries.
- Provide technical consultation to clients isting them in selecting the right products/services to meet their needs.
- Develop and deliver presentations demonstrations and product training to customers and internal teams.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the auto and construction sectors.
- Identify and engage with potential customers understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Regularly visit customer sites attend industry trade shows and conduct product demonstrations.
- Sales Strategy & :
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the auto and construction markets.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities manage the sales pipeline and close deals.
- Prepare and deliver proposals negotiate contracts and manage the postsales process to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Market Research & Product Development:
- Stay updated on industry trends competitor products and technological advancements in the auto and construction sectors.
- Provide feedback to the product development team to ist in creating products that meet market demand.
- ist in the development of marketing materials and strategies tailored to target markets.
- Reporting & Doentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities customer interactions and pipeline status using Customer Relationship tools.
- Prepare regular reports for management highlighting sales performance market insights and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or a related field. A technical background is highly preferred. English proficiency is mandatory
- Experience:
- 35 years of experience in a sales engineering role preferably in the auto or construction industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with Customer Relationship and sales ytics tools.
- Ss:
- Strong technical understanding of auto and construction products/services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal ss with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
- Strong problemsolving ss with a customercentric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.

- Professional certifications related to sales or engineering.
