Job Description

Muxon a global recruitment agency is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Country Sales Manager for an exciting opportunity with one of the biggest telecommunications companies in the world. This permanent role will focus on driving sales and business development efforts for wired communication products and digital settop boxes in the Mexican telecom operator market.

Location: Mexico D.F.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management: Lead the sales efforts and business development for telecom products ensuring revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decisionmakers at telecom operators serving as the main point of contact for product discussions and contract negotiations.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the telecom sector collaborating with crossfunctional teams to adapt products to local market needs.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies providing valuable feedback to internal teams on market insights and customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English with the ability to conduct business negotiations in both languages.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (preferred fields: Communications Electronics or related engineering disciplines).
  • Experience: Previous sales experience in the telecommunications industry ideally in products for telecom operators. Familiarity with wired communication products and digital settop box solutions is a plus.
  • Target Company Experience: Experience with companies like Huawei FiberHome or other firms specializing in telecom products is preferred.
  • Other Skills: Strong negotiation presentation and relationshipbuilding skills. A proactive approach to achieving sales goals and solving problems.
