Job Description
Job Description: Electrical Purchaser
Shift: 7 AM 4 PM
Wage: $65000 to $100000/year
Location: WindsorEssex ON
Job Responsibilities:
- Sourced and purchased electrical materials and equipment for the company.
- Elish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement.
- Create purchase orders negotiate pricing and manage delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards in all purchasing activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as necessary.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand their electrical purchasing needs.
- Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop costsaving strategies without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in electrical purchasing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business or related field preferred
- Experience with inventory management software – Jonas or equivalent
- 34 years experience as an Electrical Purchaser at an Electrical Wholesale company
- 1 year experience in shipping and receiving
- Strong knowledge of electrical components materials and equipment.
