Job Title: Application Support Engineer
Scope:the scope of an Application Support Engineer is diverse and dynamic offering numerous opportunities for professional growth and specialization in various areas of technology and support.
Responsibilities:
Providing first level investigation and diagnosis.
Resolving those incidents/service requests they are able.
Escalating incidents/service requests that they cannot resolve within agreed timescales
Following up till the closure of the incident with second and thirdline support.
Logging all relevant incident/service request details allocating categorization and prioritization codes
Keeping users informed of progress.
ist users with data conversion / migration.
Design develop and maintain reports used by systems users.
Closing all resolved incidents requests and other calls.
Conducting customer/user satisfaction callbacks/surveys as agreed
Communication with users keeping them informed of incident progress notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages etc.
Qualifications:
Bachlor degree in IT Computer Science or Computer Software Engineering.
12 years of experience in Application Support role.
Excellent communication Ss.
Experience on supporting large scale systems (ERP financial Project management).
Handson experience in MySQL Databases and windows troubleing.
