Job Summary: The Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that production goals are met efficiently costeffectively and safely. The Plant Manager will lead a team of production supervisors and workers manage resources and implement processes to optimize productivity and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations of the plant to ensure smooth and efficient production.
Develop and implement production plans to meet or exceed production targets.
Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure ontime delivery of products.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor plant staff including production supervisors line workers and maintenance personnel.
Foster a positive and productive work environment emphasizing teamwork safety and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff members.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections.
Address and resolve any quality issues or defects in a timely manner.
Safety and Compliance:
Develop implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations health and safety standards and other legal requirements.
Conduct regular safety training and audits.
Budget and Resource Management:
Manage the plant’s budget including labor materials and overhead costs.
Identify costsaving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Oversee the procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity efficiency and quality.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other odologies to streamline operations.

Communication and Reporting:
Maintain clear and effective communication with upper management staff and other departments.
Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance including production metrics financials and quality issues.
Address any issues or concerns raised by staff or other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Manufacturing Industrial Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
Proven experience in a manufacturing management role preferably as a Plant Manager or similar position.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes quality control and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal ss.
Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to yze complex data and make strategic decisions.
Strong problemsolving ss and the ability to work under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment including standing for long periods and occasional lifting of heavy materials.
Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required.
