A leading BCorp certified architectural practice is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Architectural Technologist to join their expanding London studio. This role offers the chance to work on cuttingedge residential recladding projects predominantly focusing on RIBA Stages 4 and 5. Role Overview:
As a Senior Architectural Technologist you will lead the technical design and coordination of projects working closely with project teams to deliver highquality outcomes. The role will involve overseeing all technical aspects of design and construction from bespoke detailing to onsite coordination. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members ensuring collaborative success across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design and coordination of residential recladding projects across all RIBA stages with a focus on Stages 4 and 5
- Produce and supervise the preparation of technical design doents including drawings details and specifications
- Lead design team meetings produce reports and contribute to project meetings
- Respond to and resolve site queries attending site visits to ensure quality and compliance with statutory requirements
- Manage and mentor junior team members driving excellence across project deliverables
Ss and Requirements:
- 7 years of experience working as a Technologist/Senior Technologist on large residential or commercial projects
- Strong technical ss particularly in developing bespoke construction details
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD (Revit test required for shortlisted candidates)
- Indepth knowledge of UK planning processes and building regulations including recent changes under the Building Safety Act (BSA)
- Excellent communication teamworking ss and attention to detail
- Previous experience with residential recladding projects including highrise buildings (HRBs) is desirable but not essential
