Job Description

As a Workstation Software Management Technician you will:
  • Manage and resolve incoming incidents and service requests through the NATO HQ ticketing system ensuring they are addressed within agreed SLAs.
  • Perform secondlevel application and configuration troubleshooting on all networkconnected clients.
  • Assist in patch remediation activities as required.
  • Handle application provisioning and client provisioning tasks including MS Windows installation configuration and administration.
  • Oversee the management and administration of MS Windows Server (2012/2016/2019) and workstations (Windows 8.1/Windows 10).
  • Troubleshoot operating system and software provisioning issues ensuring seamless operations.
  • Install and document remote application provisioning services.
  • Ensure security updates and system hardening to maintain a secure environment.
  • Manage workstation creation and overall system engineering tasks.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in system administration with a focus on MS Windows Server (2012/2016/2019) and workstation (Windows 8.1/Windows 10) operating systems.
  • Strong expertise in software packaging deployment and troubleshooting of networkconnected clients.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory and Group Policies for efficient user and system management.
  • Handson experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for application and client provisioning.
  • Solid understanding of security updates patch remediation and system hardening practices.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Effectively manage and resolve multiple incidents and service requests simultaneously.
  • Perform detailed troubleshooting and remediation of issues in networkconnected clients.
  • Administer and configure MS Windows Server and workstations ensuring optimal performance.
  • Implement and document remote application provisioning services.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with security updates and system hardening procedures.
