As a Workstation Software Management Technician you will:
- Manage and resolve incoming incidents and service requests through the NATO HQ ticketing system ensuring they are addressed within agreed SLAs.
- Perform secondlevel application and configuration troubleshooting on all networkconnected clients.
- Assist in patch remediation activities as required.
- Handle application provisioning and client provisioning tasks including MS Windows installation configuration and administration.
- Oversee the management and administration of MS Windows Server (2012/2016/2019) and workstations (Windows 8.1/Windows 10).
- Troubleshoot operating system and software provisioning issues ensuring seamless operations.
- Install and document remote application provisioning services.
- Ensure security updates and system hardening to maintain a secure environment.
- Manage workstation creation and overall system engineering tasks.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in system administration with a focus on MS Windows Server (2012/2016/2019) and workstation (Windows 8.1/Windows 10) operating systems.
- Strong expertise in software packaging deployment and troubleshooting of networkconnected clients.
- Proficiency in Active Directory and Group Policies for efficient user and system management.
- Handson experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for application and client provisioning.
- Solid understanding of security updates patch remediation and system hardening practices.
