Education
Required Registered nurse diploma.
Preferred ociate or bachelors degree in nursing.
Work Experience
Minimum of 2 Years
Certifications
Required Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart ociation.
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification within 30 days of hire.
Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Certification in clinical specialty area.
Knowledge Ss and Abilities (KSAs)

Proficiency in using computers software and webbased applications.

Effective verbal and written communication ss and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.

Good organizational and time management ss and ability to be selfdirected.

Ability to demonstrate good judgment.

Good interpersonal ss.
Job Duties

Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.

esses learning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate for the diverse needs of the patient family and other groups or disciplines.

Communicates delegates and manages nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly serving as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team.

Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale and improvement in the profession of nursing.

Adapts behavior to the specific patient population including but not limited to respect for privacy od of introduction to the patient adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed requesting permissions and communication style.
