Job Description

Tasks
- Proficient in all aspects of basic laboratory procedures and data collection including ability to review laboratory results/data for general quality and consistency
- Operate basic laboratory equipment (PCR machine microtomes tabletop centrifuge etc.) and trouble basic problems
- Execute ignments according to elished protocols
- Review raw data for quality and consistency
- Basic statistics evaluation and visual data presentation with Microsoft Excel
- Convert measurements and prepare chemical solutions and buffers as required
- Manage concurrent tasks in varying stages of completion
- Provide istance as needed to junior team members
- Maintain an accurate and uptodate laboratory notebook tracking work as required
- Work in a regulated GCP environment with a Laboratory Information and Management Software (LIMS)
- Participate in general lab maintenance such as cleaning freezers shared lab space and equipment and stocking shared reagents and consumables
- Participate in the elishment of new ays and devices as part of the validation process
- Respect the privacy of the personal information of patients coworkers and all individuals with whom the company interacts
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the company and its operations
- Other duties as igned
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as BTA/CTA/MTLA (or similar) with at least 5 years relevant work experience or bachelors degree in life sciences with educational laboratory experience with at least 5 years relevant work experience
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality both in actual laboratory practice and in doentation
- Excellent laboratory ss including proficiency in pipetting doentation and procedure (clinical sterile or molecular depending on the needs of the laboratory)
- Experience converting measurements and preparing chemical solutions and buffers
- Ability to understand protocols and perform protocols with consistency as demonstrated through previous laboratory experience
- Basic experience or proficiency with laboratory equipment and laboratory ysis such as DNA/RNA extractions PCRs NGS etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication ss in German and English language
