Business Planning Manager

The Business Planning Manager will oversee the Business ysis & Planning team for Commercial bank engage with the senior leaders of the Commercial Bank business to understand and strategize the needs for decisionmaking which drive growth of the business segment. Also provides advisory services to senior leadership and should influence decisionmaking via data ytics and insight.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drive strategic initiatives that include sector and portfolio governance project management performance management and controls. The role will guide trade offs in making investment decisions and ensure optimal return on investments in resources.
  
• Act as an internal consultant for Commercial Bank leadership Sector heads and key organization stakeholders
  
• Build strong internal relationships with key Commercial Bank business leaders and personnel to define and understand strategic and tactical data requirements
  
• Manage a high performing team including training work allocation objectives setting coaching performance essment and management
  
• Perform yses and deliver relevant performance metrics to the business leaders and uncover trends in the data
  
• Create regular and ad hoc dashboards trends and reports based on selected business performance metrics
  
• At a tactical level the role is responsible for managing ysts in creating and timely delivery of ytics reports and dashboards to Commercial bank business leadership. S/he ensures that relevant metrics and trends are identified and reported to key stakeholders and/or business unit leaders.
  
• As the head of the Commercial Bank Business ysis & Planning team and responsible for the functional areas of expertise the inbent is also expected to think and act in the wider context and interests of the bank For example delivery of overall strategy marketplace and Member outcomes innovation and development
  
• Ensure that all program projects and strategic initiatives and deliverables are aligned with business objectives. Prioritize reporting projects and ign work to ysts
  
• Develop maintain and continuously improve reporting processes for Commercial Bank
  
• Identify reporting and ysis problems and work with management to resolve them
  
• Develop and manage units competitor intelligence gathering framework
  
• Supervise sector research and development of presentations
  
• Drive development of sector focused onboarding kits for salesforce and clients
  
  

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business Finance Economics Engineering or a related field with a good knowledge of Maths / Statistics. Other degrees and equivalent functional experience considered

MBA or advanced professional qualifications viewed favorably.

6 years of related work experience in a financerelated field (including management consulting commercial/corporate banking).
