Job Description

A large professional company with offices all over Europe is looking for a sed Payroll Specialist in Nicosia Cyprus. The successful candidate must be fluent in both English and Greek and have an educational background and a proven track record in the HR and payroll field.

To be a good fit for this position you must have an in depthunderstanding of tax regulations for employees and know how to explain them to colleagues who send inquiries on this topic. You must also be familiar with HR software and prepare various reports.

Last but not least you must be always up to date with legislative changes and inform clients about them as soon as they occur.

Our client provides crossborder tax consultancy services to clients as well as company formation services. By providing accurate up to date and professional information the company has built a solid reputation for its expertise. What Youll Do:

As a Payroll Specialist your main duty will be to handle the usual payroll preparation tasks and be the first point of contact for employees inquiries.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll & payments to employees / authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements
  • Prepare and submit payrollrelated reports to regulatory authorities
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
  • Coordinate with the software provider to prepare specific reports at regular intervals according to client requests
  • Monitoring legislative changes concerning the payroll.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must fulfil the following conditions:

  • Bachelors degree or relevant accounting/ HR qualification
  • 2 to 4 years if experience in a related field
  • Fluent in English and Greek
  • Experience in working with international/multinational companies will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent communication ytical and organisation ss
  • Experience in working with Pocket and/or Esoft software.
