Job Description

Your involvement starts in the early stages of the projects.

The Marine Systems Engineer is able to design from scratch communicate effectively with clients and guide the designers and engineers involved in the project.

Tasks

  • To determine the specifications for marine systems;
  • To design and engineer the marine systems;
  • To make various calculations and layouts for engine rooms;
  • To lead projects and be the point of contact with clients guide designers and engineers;
  • To work according to the set specifications;
  • To investigate and develop opportunities for alternative systems

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering Mechanical Engineering or similar;
  • Over 8 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of various system components vessel layouts and piping material and knowledge of requirements from clification societies and authorities;
  • Experience with Nupas Cadmatic and/or AutoCAD;
