Role Description:

As a Data Platform Engineer you will work within the Data Platform Services team where you will work on the further development of our data infrastructure and services on Azure. Together with your colleagues you will support business units during an onboarding process and the management and availability of packages relating to programming languages. You will also realize the machine learning data platforms and CI/CD pipelines for this. You will use the existing architecture and where necessary adjust the architecture in consultation.

This is what you will do as a Data Platform Engineer at client.

You design develop test and implement scalable reliable and innovative solutions on our Azure data and machine learning platforms

You create and maintain automated processes for building testing and deploying software using tools such as Bicep Azure DevOps Git and CI/CD pipelines and Python

You are a sparring partner for the other developers and ensure that developed solutions meet the set standards guidelines and architectural principles

You advise customers of the platforms and ensure that our internal customers have a good user experience

have a higher professional education/university work and thinking level and at least 3 years of experience with designing developing testing and implementing cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform

have experience with multiple Azure components such as Azure Synapse Azure Data Factory Azure Delta Lake Azure DevOps and Azure Machine Learning

can program in Bicep or soing similar have experience with Python and preferably also knowledge of solution designs with regard to Data/ML platforms

are a strong communicator solutionoriented and innovative

you can work well together and live in the Netherlands so you can come to our head office in Utrecht at least once a week
