  As the Director of Development and Project Management for our flagship product you will be responsible for guiding the development and project management aspects. The product is a platform service that enables companies to issue virtual and physical VisaJCB cards for their own brands quickly and costeffectively APIizing all transactions including card issuance usage eligibility determination and transaction history inquiry to achieve seamless service integration through a unified mechanism.

  In this position as a Project Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating development roadmaps and use cases based on the product strategy
  • Understanding the specifications of related systems (Payment systems etc.) and formulating business requirements
  • Progress management of the entire product conducting risk management and considering/implementing improvement measures for issues
  • Optimizing resources and supporting test planning in development projects
  • Negotiating/communicating with various stakeholders including international card brands
  • Depending on your preference you may also be involved in designing the architecture in collaboration with the development team.

Minimum Requirements

  • Management experience in system development projects
  • Handson experience in the entire process from requirements definition to testing in open systems development and web system development
  • Management experience of engineering members and partner companies in system development
  • Experience in negotiating with stakeholders including clients
  • Individuals who resonate with our vision and values

Preferred Requirements

  • System development experience in web applications SaaS and missioncritical systems

Location: Kojimachi Chiyodaku Tokyo

• Approximately 5 minutes on foot from Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line Kojimachi Station (Exit 2)
• Approximately 8 minutes on foot from JR Yotsuya Station
• Approximately 9 minutes on foot from Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line/Ginza Line Akasakamitsuke Station (Exit D)

Annual Salary:JPY *based on experience ability and previous work experience

• Salary adjustments: Twice a year
• Bonuses: Twice a year (April and October)
• Overtime allowances for exceeding regular working hours are provided (subject to position/grade).

Hours: 9:30 18:30 (60 minutes of break time)

• Depending on the position/grade it will fall under flextime specialist discretionary labor system or management and supervisory discretionary labor system.
• The abovementioned hours are the standard and employee determinations may vary.
• Overtime work beyond regular hours is expected.
• The flextime system does not have a core time.
• Saturdays Sundays and national holidays
• Annual paid leave (provided according to company regulations from the first day of employment)
