Job Description
Company Introduction:
- A new manufacturing facility is being established in Senai Ipark Johor Bahru specializing in medical devices injection molding and precision engineering. We welcome talent with relevant industry experience to apply. For the right candidate our client is prepared to offer up to a 30% increase on your current salary.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Operations Management:
- Oversee the entire logistics process including inbound and outbound shipments warehousing and inventory management.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and finished goods.
2.LMW Compliance:
- Manage and maintain the LMW license ensuring full compliance with Malaysian regulations.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation related to LMW activities.
3. Supply Chain Coordination:
- Collaborate with suppliers vendors and internal teams to optimize the supply chain and minimize disruptions.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
4. Inventory Control:
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
5. Cost Management:
- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs while maintaining service quality.
- Negotiate with freight forwarders transport providers and other logistics partners to secure favorable rates.
6. Process Improvement:
- Continuously review and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency accuracy and speed.
- Implement best practices and new technologies to streamline operations.
7. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the production procurement and sales teams to align logistics activities with overall business goals.
- Provide logistics support and guidance to crossfunctional teams.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Licenses Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes inventory control and warehouse management.
Salary Range:
- From RM6000 to RM9000
