Job Description
Company Background:
- A new manufacturing facility is being established in Senai Ipark Johor Bahru specializing in medical devices injection molding and precision engineering. We welcome talent with relevant industry experience to apply. For the right candidate our client is prepared to offer up to a 30% increase on your current salary.
Job Description:
1. Production Planning & Management:
- Oversee the planning scheduling and of all production activities to meet company targets and customer demands.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency quality and adherence to timelines.
2. Molding & Medical Plastics Expertise:
- Utilize your expertise in molding to manage and optimize molding operations ensuring the production of highquality plastic products.
- Apply knowledge of medical plastics to ensure products meet the rigorous standards required for medical applications.
3. ISO 13485 Compliance:
- Ensure that all production processes comply with ISO 13485 standards particularly for medical device manufacturing.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in line with ISO 13485 requirements.
4. Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead manage and develop a team of production staff including operators technicians and supervisors.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement safety and quality within the production team.
5. Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency reduce waste and improve product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously upgrade production processes.
6. Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with the quality team to ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
7. Resource Management:
- Manage resources effectively including materials equipment and manpower to maximize productivity.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.
8. Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate production records including process documentation and compliance reports
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in production management with a strong background in molding within the plastic manufacturing industry.
- Expertise in medical plastics is a significant advantage.
- Indepth knowledge of ISO 13485 standards and experience in implementing and maintaining compliant production processes.
- Fluent in Mandarin both written and spoken to effectively communicate with Mandarinspeaking stakeholders.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
Salary Range:
- From RM12000 to RM15000
