Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate usergenerated content in Icelandic to ensure adherence to community guidelines.
  • Identify and escalate inappropriate or harmful content to the relevant teams.
  • Provide feedback and insights on trends in usergenerated content to enhance moderation processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain consistency in moderation practices and standards.
  • Accurately document moderation activities and decisions within our systems.
  • Assist in developing best practices and guidelines for effective content moderation.

Requirements:

  • Native Icelandic speaker with excellent communication skills.
  • B2 level proficiency in English.
  • Previous experience in content moderation or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to make informed judgments.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with online communities and social media platforms.
