Overview: We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Data Entry Coordinator to join our Home Health team. The Data Entry Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and uptodate records of patient information and services provided. This position requires strong attention to detail excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities:
Receive and process patient admission into our agencys EMR system for home health services.
Coordinate care by assigning case manager and clinician to ensure 48 hour admission.
Follow up on inquiries related to the patient admission and staff availability.
Assist in establishing the initial Plan of Care and plotting of tasks to staff schedule.
Data Entry Use EMR (Kinnser) Secure messages application Gmail google doc office (Adobe and Excel).
Provide outstanding customer service.
Schedule/reschedule appointments and manage 15 calendars.
Assist nursing therapists and administrative team as needed.
Other duties of a similar nature or level.
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in data entry or similar role preferably in a healthcare setting
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical terminology
Strong computer skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Willing to start ASAP
Willing to work fulltime night shift
