Job Description
Job Title: Agile Technical Project Manager
Location: Jacksonville FL (Hybrid 4 days onsite and one day remote)
Employment Type: FullTime
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Agile Technical Project Manager to drive the successful of technology projects ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects across the full development lifecycle using Agile methodologies. This role requires both strong technical acumen and excellent communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and deliver complex technical projects from initiation to completion using Agile methodologies.
- Define project scope objectives and deliverables that align with business goals and stakeholder requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans including sprint planning timeline estimation resource allocation and risk management.
- Act as a Scrum Master for Agile teams facilitating ceremonies (sprint planning standups retrospectives).
- Guide teams in implementing best Agile practices (Scrum Kanban) to improve efficiency and product delivery.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders providing regular updates on project status risks and issues.
- Manage expectations of both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Lead discussions around technical tradeoffs risks and mitigations with engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Work closely with software engineers DevOps QA and UX/UI teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements and timelines.
- Proactively identify project risks and issues developing appropriate mitigation and resolution strategies.
- Maintain risk logs and ensure timely escalation and communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide detailed and accurate reporting to leadership on project milestones roadblocks and overall project health.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience managing software development projects with at least 3 years in Agile environments.
- Handson experience with Agile project management tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence).
- Proven success managing crossfunctional teams and delivering technical projects on time and within scope.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) PMP or other relevant certifications.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS Azure GCP) or DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with modern programming languages data architecture or API integration.
- Experience in scaling Agile across multiple teams or organizations (SAFe LeSS or other frameworks).
