About the Role:
Were on the hunt for a dedicated Senior Tax Accountant to join our clients growing boutique CPA firm. Based in Lakeland FL this role offers hybrid work options after 90 days and relocation assistance. The ideal candidate will take over an existing client base and work closely with senior leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 3 years of public accounting experience and a CPA certification to step into a leadership role with the potential for future partnership opportunities.
Your Mission:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for corporate individual partnership trust and estate clients across multiple states and entities.
- Lead engagements through all phases of tax planning research and accounting.
- Serve as a seniorlevel tax consultant providing strategic tax guidance to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
- Supervise staff manage client engagements and ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
Core Competencies:
- Tax Expertise: Proven experience in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for a diverse range of clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain longterm client relationships.
- Leadership & Team Supervision: Experience leading teams and managing client engagements.
- Tax Planning & Strategy: Ability to provide clients with strategic guidance on tax planning and compliance.
What You Bring:
- Bachelors degree in accounting.
- 3 years of recent public accounting tax experience with increasing responsibilities.
- CPA certification is required.
- Proven experience in staff supervision and managing client relationships.
- Ability to prioritize tasks work effectively in a teamoriented environment and interact professionally with clients and staff.
