Job Description
Company Background:
This company is specializing in offering hotels a comprehensive range of services including decoration linen supply laundry and hotel supplies. Operating centralized laundry factories shared warehouses and convenient logistics with a sophisticated hotel linen rental and washing system. With forward warehouses in Kuala Lumpur Penang Sarawak Sabah and beyond gradually expanding across Malaysia and Singapore.
Job Description:
- Manage daily operations of the laundry facility ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Implement and monitor operational procedures to optimize productivity and operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve processes reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
- Utilize your background in maintenance engineering to oversee and coordinate the maintenance of all laundry equipment.
- Schedule and conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with external vendors or maintenance teams as necessary to address complex issues.
- Arrange and manage logistics services including transportation and delivery of laundry products.
- Coordinate with suppliers and transportation providers.
- Oversee staffing levels including recruitment training and scheduling of personnel.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Manage workforce performance conduct regular evaluations and address any staffing issues.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports.
- Make informed decisions and recommend improvements.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related field preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills Mandarin Speaker is preferable.
- Previous experience in the laundry industry or a similar sector is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering.
- Experience in arranging logistics services and managing manpower in a highpaced environment.
- Extensive experience in operations management within the laundry or related industry.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities with a proven track record of driving operational success.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Salary Range:
- RM7000 to RM10000
