About the Role:
Were on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Structural Engineer Restoration to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role youll take ownership of evaluating existing structural conditions designing repair and protection systems and managing construction processes. You will also work closely with clients and contractors to ensure project success. Your Mission:

• Manage structural design projects including repairs and envelope protection systems.
• Evaluate engineering problems analyze designs and provide effective solutions.
• Lead the bidding and construction process while ensuring compliance with building regulations.
• Use CAD software for design and modeling tasks (AutoCAD Revit).
• Conduct site inspections to verify construction quality and compliance with specifications.

Core Competencies:

• Structural Design: Expertise in creating and analyzing structural repair systems.
• Project Management: Ability to manage complex construction projects from start to finish.
• Engineering Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and other design tools.
• Communication: Strong skills in client and contractor interaction ensuring clear project goals.

What You Bring:

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in structural engineering and inspections.
• Active Engineering Intern (EI) License.
• Expertise in using CAD and drafting tools for engineering designs.
• Valid Florida Drivers License with an acceptable driving record.

Skills Required:

• Structural Design: Proficient in creating repair and protection systems for buildings.
• Project Management: Experienced in overseeing bidding planning and construction phases.
• Engineering Tools: Skilled in AutoCAD Revit and other industrystandard design tools.
• Field Inspections: Ability to evaluate site conditions and ensure construction quality.

Certifications:

• Active Engineering Intern (EI) License Required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License Preferred.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in civil Engineering Required.
• Masters degree in civil Engineering Preferred.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

• Must be comfortable working in outdoor environments and navigating construction sites.
