About the Role:
Were on the hunt for a dynamic Pile Dynamic Project Engineer to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role you will focus on conducting analyses assessments and testing related to the behavior of piles in various soil conditions. You will utilize advanced software and equipment to evaluate pile performance and provide recommendations for design optimization and construction processes. Your Mission:

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of pile behavior including dynamic testing wave equation analysis and signal matching techniques.
• Perform field testing and monitoring of piles using instrumentation such as pile driving analyzers strain gauges accelerometers and pile integrity testers.
• Interpret test results and data to assess pile integrity loadbearing capacity and dynamic response characteristics.
• Collaborate with design teams to optimize pile design and construction methods based on analytical findings.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings recommendations and conclusions for stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during construction phases.
• Stay current with industry standards codes and best practices related to pile dynamics and foundation engineering.
• Participate in research and development initiatives to enhance methodologies and tools for pile dynamics assessments.

Core Competencies:

• Pile Dynamics: Expertise in dynamic testing wave equation analysis and signal matching techniques.
• Field Testing: Proficient in using pile driving analyzers and other instrumentation for testing pile integrity.
• Data Interpretation: Strong skills in analyzing and interpreting complex data related to pile performance.
• Collaboration: Ability to work with design teams to optimize pile design and construction processes.

What You Bring:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Required.
• Masters Degree in Civil Engineering Preferred.
• 710 years of experience in pile dynamics analysis and testing within the civil engineering or construction industry.
• Proficiency in specialized software for pile dynamics analysis.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics structural dynamics and geotechnical engineering principles.
• Experience with various pile types including driven piles drilled shafts micro piles and helical piles.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct field testing and install instrumentation on construction sites.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
• Valid Florida Drivers License with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Floridas Jessica Lunsford Act.

Skills Required:

• Pile Dynamics: Proficiency in analyzing and testing pile performance.
• Field Testing: Expertise in using testing equipment such as pile driving analyzers and strain gauges.
• Geotechnical Engineering: Strong understanding of soil mechanics and structural dynamics.
• Data Analysis: Ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights.

Certifications:

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License Preferred.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Required.
• Masters Degree in Civil Engineering Preferred.
