Position Overview: As a Sourcing Specialist you will play a critical role in managing the procurement process to ensure that we secure the best possible products and services at the most competitive prices. You will be responsible for identifying potential suppliers negotiating contracts and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to support our companys strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Research and identify potential suppliers evaluate their capabilities and assess their performance based on quality price and delivery timelines.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies that align with the companys goals and optimize the supply chain process.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends industry developments and pricing changes to make informed sourcing decisions.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers monitor their performance and address any issues or concerns that arise.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze cost structures and work with finance teams to develop budgets and costsaving initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities supplier performance and market conditions to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in sourcing procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract management.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and sourcing software (e.g. SAP Oracle).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g. CPSM APICS) is a plus.
- Experience in industry relevant is advantageous.
